The heroism of those who fell reminds us that courage, loyalty, and love for one’s homeland are values that unite generations and inspire creation...

Each year, we honor the memory of fallen soldiers to pay tribute to those who gave their lives in defense of their country. On October 7, students, faculty, and staff of the Russian-Armenian University, led by Rector Professor Edward Sandoyan, laid flowers at the Monument to RAU Students and Alumni Who Perished in Armed Conflicts and Artillery Strikes in the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh between 2020 and 2023. The ceremony was also attended by the heroes’ parents and friends.

"The heroism of those who fell reminds us that courage, loyalty, and love for one’s homeland are values that unite generations and inspire creation," noted RAU Rector Edward Sandoyan.

The parents, students, and faculty also visited the memorial classroom named after Leonid Azgaldyan and the Yerablur Military Pantheon.
