The Scientific Publications Department of RAU has been functioning since late 2012, based on Rector's Order No. 01-07/980 on the redistribution of publishing functions. Scientific publishing activities encompass a range of creative and organizational-technical tasks aimed at preparing and issuing scientific, scientific-methodical, educational, educational-methodical, reference, informational, cartographic, periodic, and illustrative publications, as well as printed materials of various kinds.
These activities are carried out in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia, including "On Education" (adopted on April 14, 1999), "On Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education" (adopted on May 7, 2002), "On Copyright and Related Rights" (adopted on May 13, 1996), "On Mass Media" (adopted on December 13, 2003), publishing standards (GOSTs), Regulations on the Editorial-Publishing Council of higher educational institutions, Regulations on the procedure for assigning educational publications the approval of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation or the Republic of Armenia, the University Charter, and Regulations on the scientific-editorial activity of the university. The Scientific Publications Department operates under a publishing license (series LR No. 0112 dated June 9, 1999) and the Rector's order.
