Students, faculty, and staff of the Russian-Armenian University, led by Rector Professor Edward Sandoyan, laid flowers at the Monument to RAU Students and Graduates Who Perished in the Second Artsakh War on January 27. Parents and friends of the heroes also participated in the memorial event.
RAU Rector Edward Sandoyan noted that the university cherishes the memory of its students and graduates who gave their lives for the Motherland, emphasizing that their heroic deeds will forever remain a moral compass for future generations.

As part of Remembrance Day, parents, students, and faculty also visited the Leonid Azgaldyan Memorial Auditorium and then the Yerablur Military Pantheon, where they honored the memory of the fallen defenders of the Fatherland.
The parents of the deceased expressed gratitude to the leadership and faculty of the RAU for preserving the memory of the heroes, noting that it is especially important for their families to see that their sons' heroism has not been forgotten and continues to live in their hearts.
On this day, the book "Մեզ բացակա չդնեք" ("Don't mark us as absent"), dedicated to the memory of the students who fell during the military operations of 2020-2023, was also presented.
As a reminder, January 27 has been declared Remembrance Day for those who fell defending the Motherland in Armenia.
